In 1953, Roy Harr founded Harr's Jewelry with a passion for watchmaking and people. Roy was a devoted family man who grew the business and began to work alongside his children, Alan Harr and Elaine Kramer.
As Harr's Jewelry evolved Alan worked alongside his wife Mary. His love for the diamond industry, along with his annual trips to Antwerp, Belgium, grew Harr's into a destination retail jeweler. His passion for diamonds, gems, and custom design led Harr's Jewelry to relocate in 2003 to a larger showroom. It's with this passion, over Alan's 50 years, that has allowed Harr's to grow into a third generation.
Alan has now worked alongside his two children, Jason and Molly, for over 25 years. Most recently, Roy's granddaughter Christine Kramer, has joined the family business. Along with family, Harr's has been fortunate to have great long-term employees contribue to their history and success.
